Companies laud Top 100 survey
CEOs say ranking has seen them attract investors, expand and employ more people. Ranking among the Top 100 midsized companies has earned the firms more profits, publicity and avenues for seeking funds. This year’s survey that was launched yesterday targets small and medium size enterprises. This is its eighth year and it hopes to review over 200 firms.

Unique Offers finds success in counties
Devolution has its detractors, but Unique Offers is not one of them. The company is riding on devolution to clinch investment deals in counties to build markets, renovate clinics, install communication equipment and build low-cost housing. Unique Offers that was started in 2005 as a business enterprise dealing with computers and accessories is behind the refurbishment of the Ofafa Maringo Clinic and the renovation of Mbotela Social Hall, Makadara in 2012.

Travel firm eyes luxury private jets for growth
Jinit Shah, chief executive of Xtreme Adventures Limited is convinced there is a sizeable but largely untapped market for luxury travel in Kenya. All it requires, he says, is a deep pocketed investor willing to purchase and park private jets at the country’s airports and loads of marketing – his forte. Mr Shah founded the company in 2004, initially providing overland safaris across the African continent, from Egypt to South Africa and back.

2015 Top 100 mid-sized companies survey launched
The Top 100 mid-sized companies survey for 2015 has been launched.. The initiative by the Nation Media Group and KPMG seeks to recognize mid-sized companies that have sound financial governance and growth as part of their DNA.
